FRUCOM is officially recognised by the European Institutions as the representative body of European traders in dried fruit, edible nuts, processed fruit & vegetables, processed fishery products and honey. As such, FRUCOM defends and represents the interests of its members towards EU policy-makers.

FRUCOM keeps its members regularly updated on future EU rules and developments that will have an impact on their trading activities. 

Through its membership, mainly based on 12 national trade organisations in 9 EU Member States (Belgium, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, the Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, United Kingdom) FRUCOM represents over 300 companies across the EU and beyond.

FRUCOM provides to its members a networking platform where they can meet  and exchange views.
